Covid/and all other infection control protocols for Maui Island Cozy Dental
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by The American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA).
We follow the Activities of these Agencies so that we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agency’s recommendations.
Some of the changes and in addition to our normal infection control to help protect our patients and staff are below:
- Our staff will communicate before hand to our patients to ask some screening questions.
- Hand Sanitizer is located throughout our office, and we will ask you to use it when you enter our office.
- We have three made in the USA EJ120 Air Purifier with medical Grade true HEPA (merv17) filters that remove 99.99% of airborne particulates
- We have installed 4 made in USA American Ultraviolet Ram in Room treatment fixtures that control the spread of Airborne microorganisms in Hospitals, Clinics since 1960. Continuously cleans air using enclosed ultraviolet lights with an internal fan.
